Clear Browsing Data in Google Chrome


Sometimes, things don’t work in Google Chrome. Websites may not load, go.edustar might not pop up, and certain resources may not be available.


“But it was working yesterday!”, you might say. Luckily, there’s a simple step you can take to try to fix it. By clearing browsing data in Google Chrome, you put the browser back into a fresh state, free of any hang-ups that might be causing problems.


  1. Click the 3-dot menu in Google Chrome.

  1. Go into More Tools > Clear Browsing Data.

  1. Click on the Advanced tab.
  2. Click all of the checkboxes (Password and Autofill are optional), and be sure to select “All Time” in the Time Range dropdown menu at the top of the page.

  1. Click “Clear Browsing Data” at the bottom.
  2. Close Google Chrome and reopen it.
  3. Retry any sites that were causing trouble.
